| Père Lachaise Cemetery (Cimetière du Père-Lachaise) is the largest cemetery in the city of Paris. The cemetery was opened on 21 May 1804. Napoleon Bonaparte as a consul declared that “Every citizen has the right to be buried regardless of race or religion”. At the time of its opening, the cemetery was considered to be situated too far from the city and attracted few funerals. Moreover, the Christians refused to have their graves in a place that had not been blessed by the Church. In 1804, the Père Lachaise had contained only 13 graves. Consequently, the administrators devised a marketing strategy and in 1804, with great fanfare, organised the transfer of the remains of La Fontaine and Molière. Within a few years, Père Lachaise went from containing a few dozen permanent residents to more than 33,000.Today Père Lachaise is still an operating cemetery and accepting new burials. Père Lachaise is reputed to be the world’s most visited cemetery, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually to the graves of those who have enhanced French life over the past 200 years. |

Hi: Just a question about your objects, are all of them updated for pets?
Thaks, and you have a wonderful stuff…so real!
Greetings from México
Where can I find the dead tree in the pictures?
@ Ani:
Yes, they are all updated for Pets.
Thanks, Warm Greeting from TSK.
@ William Hendrey:
There are three kind of dead trees.
On the Hill, that is the basic dead tree coming with the basic game, TS3.
The several small dead trees are from Ambitions.
The large white dead tree around the front entrance comes with Pets, but it’s a debug object.
To get access to this last dead tree you have to use two codes:
- testingcheatsenabled true- buydebug true
Then you will find that tree, and not only.
Hope this helps.
Hi , very nice rendition of the Père Lachaise cemetery, congratulations.
However the sims3 file doesn’t install with the sims3 launcher, at least for me
Could you please check if the file isn’t corrupted ? Thansk in advance for your help.
@ zarmor:
Can you please check your game version?
The minimum required version is 10.0.96 as it says in the description.
Please post here your TS3 Launcher version, so we’ll try to find out the problem.
ok thanks, my launcher version is 11.0.84.014001
Any clue ?
Alright, I need more details to find out what’s wrong.
You have a particular problem in your game, as the file it is not corrupt and it’s completely working.
I downloaded the file right from this page.
I extracted the .rar file and I moved the Cimetière du Père Lachaise.Sim3Pack file to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads\.
Later I opened the TS3 Launcher located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\.
I opened the Downloads Tab and I clicked to Install the file.
Everything worked perfectly.
The Launcher Version is 10.0.96, and the Game Version is 1.29.55.014002.

I used your method to launch the file and it worked just fine. So I guess I was doing it the wrong way !
Anyway good job and keep up with the excellent job.
Great cemetery. Love it.
I also had a problem trying to get this to install……also tried putting into the downloads folder like you said and voila! it worked……. I have to say having visited this truly beautiful cemetery myself many years ago you’ve captured the feel of it perfectly……. thanks
