Q - What to do with the downloaded file?
A – All files available for download are .zip and they can be oppened as any other folder.
A – If you have an old Operating System and you can’t open the .zip file, you can use WinRAR to extract the files.
Q – How to install .sim3pack files?
A – The content should start to install by simply (double) clicking on the icon.
A – If doesn’t work, move your .sim3pack file to:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads (windows XP)
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads (windows vista / 7)
After this, open your Sims 3 Launcher, and all downloaded content will be found in downloads tab.
Q – How to install .package files?
A – First of all you need a file named resources.cfg, if you don’t have it you can download it HERE
A – Considering you already have resources.cfg, put your .package files into Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages
Q – Can I re-upload your content?
A – No, If you want to recommend one of my items, please link to this website.
Q – Can I recolor your meshes?
A – Free Downloads, Yes, and it will be much appreciated if you give a link back to this website.
A – Donation Downloads are under the copyright of TheSimsK and may NOT be cloned, recolored or redistributed in any way.
Ask for special permission if you want to recolor them!
Q – Can I use your textures on a different mesh?
A – Depends of which texture you want to use. Ask for permision.
Q – Can I hotlink to your files?
A – No, please add a full link to the content page.
Q – Can I use your creations in my screenshots?
A – Yes, and it will be much appreciated if you give a link back to this website.
Q – Can I use your objects in my uploaded lots?
A – You can use any objects from this website, but please do not include them into your uploaded lots.

Q – When I click on the download button I get the message “Page not found”. What to do?
A – If you used a direct link to the download file, that’s why you get this error.
A – You should, clear your cache browser, here is how to do:
Firefox:
Firefox 3.5+: From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History
Firefox 3.0+: From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data
Internet Explorer:
IE 8: From the Safety menu in the upper right, click Delete Browsing History.
Deselect Preserve Favorites website data, and select Temporary Internet files, Cookies, and History.
Then click delete
IE 7: From the Tools menu in the upper right, select Internet Options.
To delete your cache, click Delete files
Chrome:
Chrome: On the upper right, from the Tools menu select Options. From the Under the Hood tab, click Clear browsing data
Safari:
Safari: From the Safari menu, select Reset Safari
